After 10 years working as an HR and Change Management Consultant, I opted to take a career break to look after my young children. During this time I began to look at my options for a future career based on the parts of my previous job that best echoed my personal values and were my main areas of interest.
I built on my academic psychology qualifications with specific counselling and coaching training, am now a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Psychological Society. I am a member of the coaching divisions within each of these societies. In addition to working privately as a counsellor and coach, I am an approved therapist with the Barnardo's LINK support service. As an affiliated counsellor with Barnardo's, I am able to provide adoption counselling to clients. I have had my own counselling and coaching practice for the last five years and have built up a substantial body of experience in the areas described above.
I am a trained Mental Health First Aider with Mental Health First Aid England.
As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to working within and comply with the BACP Code of Ethics.
I am fully insured and covered by both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
